About Sailor Neptune
Sailor Neptune, also known as Michiru Kaioh, is one of the Outer Senshi in the Sailor Moon series. She is the Guardian of the Sea and possesses the power of the oceans.
As a civilian, Michiru is a famous violinist and talented painter. She is elegant, sophisticated, and has a strong sense of duty. She is also the partner of Sailor Uranus.

Role in the Series
Sailor Neptune first appeared in the Infinity arc (Sailor Moon S in the anime) alongside Sailor Uranus. Unlike the Inner Senshi, she and Uranus initially worked independently, with a more mature and sometimes ruthless approach to their mission of finding the talismans and stopping the Silence.
She is known for her elegance and grace, but also for her determination to complete her mission at any cost. Later in the series, she becomes more integrated with the other Sailor Guardians and helps raise Hotaru (Sailor Saturn) along with Uranus and Pluto.
